This cocktail is a gin lovers best kept secret. The cooling nature of the mint and juniper, plus the refreshing zip of the lemon and mineral water make for the perfect backyard sipper.
• 2 oz Rieger’s Midwestern Dry Gin
• ¾ oz simple syrup
• ¾ oz fresh lemon juice
• 2 oz mineral water
• 6-8 mints leaves
• Garnish with a sprig of mint
In a cocktail shaker, muddle mint leaves with the simple syrup. Next, add the gin and lemon juice and shake gently—to keep from completely destroying the mint leaves. Double-strain into a highball glass filled with ice. Top with chilled club soda and garnish appropriately.
