Rieger Straight Bourbon
A bourbon-based cousin to the Negroni, the Boulevardier was created during Prohibition by Harry McElhone of Harry’s New York Bar in Paris. Known for its bold, bittersweet flavor, it became the signature drink of Erskine Gwynne, editor of The Boulevardier magazine and nephew of Alfred Vanderbilt

INGREDIENTS
• 1 oz Rieger Bourbon
• 1 oz Sweet Vermouth (prefer Lustau Vermut rojo)
• 1 oz Red Aperitivo (prefer 50/50 between Cappelletti and Bruto Americano)
• Garnish with an Orange Slice
INSTRUCTIONS
Stir all ingredients, with ice, until properly diluted and chilled. Strain over a large rock and garnish with an orange slice.
