The name "Private Stock" dates back to 1927, when a federal court ruling permitted the Rieger family to move their personal whiskey inventory home during Prohibition — safeguarding it from a dark chapter in American whiskey history. Nearly a century later, we've revived the name for a new era: a quarterly series of distillery-exclusive releases, created directly for whiskey enthusiasts.

Rieger Private Stock 10-Year Straight Bourbon Whiskey is the first entry in a new quarterly series of distillery-exclusive releases — and the first-ever 10-year straight bourbon from J. Rieger & Co. With under 300 bottles available, this release draws from the only three 10-year-old barrels currently in our inventory.
