Broderick Jones is a rising pop sensation from Kansas taking the music scene by storm. With the release of his first EP, "Me," in 2017 and his perfect blend of pop, R&B, and rap, Broderick’s name has continued to grow locally and worldwide. In early 2022, Broderick was chosen to represent Kansas in NBC's hit TV show "American Song Contest," hosted by Snoop Dogg and Kelly Clarkson. Placing in the top 10 in the competition further showcased his ability to be as big as his childhood idols.

Damien Gunn Band is a wonderfully unique, country rock band, that bares its roots in the pride of being a true American band. With influential modern country sounds like Brantley Gilbert, Jason Aldean, and Eric Church, mixed with rocking sounds like Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, and Metallica, you will, undeniably, be moved off your seat, onto your feet, and be entertained 100% of the show!

The Uproot is one of KC’s premier cover bands, playing an eclectic setlist spanning multiple decades and genres - there is sure to be something for everyone! In 2017 the band decided to focus on “Uprooting” all your favorite cover songs to give them a fresh sound and feel. The Uproot places a focus on live improvisation and musicianship to deliver stellar performances to crowds across the KC metro night after night. No two shows are ever the same.

Well-versed in the art of puns and guitar-shredding, Kate Cosentino’s music is something of jazzy sleekness atop the lyrical precision of witty slam poetry. Garnering acclaim from initiatives like the Nashville Ballet and Bluebird Cafe’s Emergence Series as well as the Johnny Mercer Foundation’s Songwriters Project, Cosentino’s soulful songstress abilities are anything but commonplace.

Singing and performing since the age of 7, Jillian Riscoe has had her share of success. The award-winning Kansas City native singer/songwriter & musician has toured and performed across the United States - performing live in many various venues and events. Through her musical journey she has secured national radio airplay including her hometown hit country station Q104 w/ a recent multiple guest co-host spots on the CMA Awards nominated show The Morning Drive w/ Jenny Matthews & Todd Nixon, has been featured on regional TV programs such as Great Day KC on FOX4, and has opened up for over a dozen international touring artists & bands. Kat King is a 5-piece indie-pop rock group who just released their second EP, Domestic Bliss. With multiple singles on local stations' regular rotation and an infectious live energy, Kat King has shared stages with The Beths, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, The War and Treaty, Michigander, Ohmme and Lomelda - just to name a few. Emma Jo navigates the gap between Bruce Springsteen and Shania Twain, with a sweet brand of Americana and country that highlights her hard-hitting storytelling abilities and rock & roll influences. She has spent her life nurturing a deep-rooted passion for music and performing, turning her personal joys and sorrows into musical masterpieces that ring true for people around the world. Emma Jo has performed for diverse audiences, from small clubs to festival crowds of 30,000, throughout the United States, Japan, and Thailand.

7/10 | Mikey Needleman

Mikey Needleman has been a staple in the Kansas City music scene since 2005. Embracing all genres and decades, Mikey's live looping show engages all ages and musical preferences. Mikey's ability to work the room, style versatility, and depth of musical library make him a favorite at bars, weddings, festivals, and private events that has built him a fanbase all over the midwest and nationally. Mikey was also named 2022's "Best Vocalist" in Kansas City Magazine. You can catch Mikey 4-5 nights a week performing solo, as a duo, or with his band The Mikey Needleman Band.

7/17 | Sunday Basement Boogie

KC Funk & groove! Featuring some of the finest players in the KC jazz scene, SBB thrives on improvisation and old fashioned funk beats! Their repertoire includes music from Stevie Wonder and Bill Withers to Dumpstaphunk and Lettuce. Whatever song they bust out, you know it will groove!
