Julie was a long-standing favorite bartender at The Rieger restaurant, located in the historic Rieger Hotel building. She created many cocktails over the years (usually inspired by Tarantino films) but this is one of our very favorites. Tart, boozy, and refreshing. You don't see many drinks out there using passionfruit, but if you can find some passionfruit puree, this one is worth the extra effort.
• ¾ oz Kansas City Whiskey
• 1 oz Japanese Malt Whiskey
• ½ oz passion fruit syrup (1:1 puree/water)
• ½ oz Aperol
• ½ oz lemon
• ½ oz Cava rosé
Combine all ingredients except rosé in shaker tin and shake vigorously. Double strain into coupe glass, top with Cava rosé.
