The first to be attached to the term 'cocktail', this classic mixture has a history that dates back to the early 1800’s. A deceptively simple concoction that is strong and spiced, but with a sweet side that makes it approachable in a way only an enduring classic can be.

OLD FASHIONED

INGREDIENTS

• 2 oz Rieger Kansas City Whiskey
• 1 tsp Demerara Syrup (1:1 demerara sugar to water)
• 3 Dashes Angostura Bitters (heavy dashes)
• 2 Dashes Orange bitters (heavy dashes)
• Orange twist
• Cherry

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Gently Stir for 10-12 seconds. Strain into a rocks glass (ice is optional). Garnish with an orange twist, cherry, or a combination of both.
