Rieger Cocktail Recipes

Farmhouse Fizz

Ryan Maybee

This cocktail was inspired by the inimitable and legendary Master Distiller Tom Nichol. When we first began working with Tom he traveled to Kansas City from his home in Scotland and fell in love with Boulevard Brewing Co.'s Tank 7 beer. Once J. Rieger & Co.'s Midwestern Dry Gin was finalized, Ryan took it as a challenge to formulate a cocktail using both ingredients- and thus The Farmhouse Fizz was born.

• 1½ oz Midwestern Dry Gin

• ¾ oz lemon

• ¾ oz vanilla syrup

• Egg white

• 5 drops Bittermens Orange Cream Citrate

• Boulevard Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale

Combine all ingredients except Tank 7 in cocktail shaker and shake without ice to emulsify egg white. Add ice, shake vigorously for 20 seconds, and strain into a Collins glass. Top with Boulevard Tank 7 and garnish with an orange twist.
