This lovely cocktail was created by Brendan Biggins, bar manager at one of our favorite bars in New York, Grand Army Bar. A take on the classic Vieux Carre with the addition of Caffè Amaro and Benedictine.
• 1 oz Kansas City Whiskey
• ¾ oz Bertoux Brandy
• ¾ oz Carpano Antica
• ½ oz Benedictine
• 6 dashes Caffè Amaro
• 2 dashes Peychaud’s
Stir and strain into Nick and Nora glass. Express and discard orange zest.
