You can’t talk whiskey cocktails without tipping your cap to this legendary drink. A simple combination of the bold, oaky flavors of whiskey with the herbal, bittersweet fruits of vermouth, held in the ring by an intense spice of bitters.
• 2 oz Rieger's Kansas City Whiskey
• 1 oz Sweet Vermouth (we use Dolin Rouge)
• 2-3 dashes Angostura Bitters (heavy dashes)
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Gently Stir for 10-12 seconds. Strain into a cocktail coupe or rocks glass (ice is optional). Garnish with a lemon twist, orange twist, or cherry.
