Rieger Cocktail Recipes

MARTINEZ

The history of this cocktail is a bit fuzzy but you can be sure that this cocktail has deep roots that reach back all the way to the 1880’s. The equal proportions of dry gin to vermouth, give a brilliant blend of tea, spice, and soothing gin botanicals. Followed up with flavors of maraska cherry and orange. The slightly lower ABV and silky texture make this cocktail hard to pass up.

·     1 ½ oz Rieger’s Gin

·     1 ½ oz sweet vermouth (prefer Cocchi diTorino)

·     1 teaspoon of Maraschino liqueur

·     2 dash orange bitters

·     GARNISH: lemon twist

Stir all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.
